Early 1960s – Bernie Wilkoff joined Babbitt, Myers & Waddell and began his personal brokerage practice.

1982 – Toni Mancing (now retired from Stifel) joined the Babbitt & Myers office (which became Advest later that year) and began her own career in the financial services industry, working with Bernie Wilkoff.

1986 – Toni earned her securities licenses.

1992 – Bernie retired and Toni assumed leadership of their practice.

2003 – Walt Mancing joined The Mancing Group.

2005 – Advest was acquired by Merrill Lynch, and during that transition, The Mancing Group moved to UBS Financial Services Inc.

2008 – Walt Mancing assumed leadership of The Mancing Group.

2009 – Stifel purchased 56 branch offices from UBS Financial Services Inc., acquiring the Beaver, Pennsylvania, office and The Mancing Group in the process. 

2010 – Carly Lyons joined The Mancing Group. 

2017 – We rebranded as the Mancing Wealth Management Group.

2019 – Ashley Hartz joined The Mancing Group. 

 

Walt Mancing is a Chairman’s Council* member at Stifel.

 

*Chairman’s Council qualification is based on being among Stifel’s top-producing financial advisors.  The 2021 Chairman’s Council consisted of 378 financial advisors, who were recognized from among nearly 2,300 Stifel financial advisors across the nation.
